Hi Havent been on forum for a while. Well not to ask for advice anyway. I take methotrexate injections and have been doing for at least 12 months. However my liver function blood test results have been going higher and higher. My most recent one showed the result as 92. I was under the impression it should be 50 or under. My rheumy nurse today has told me to take todays methotrexate injection but Im a bit wary. Has anyone else had this problem. Would be interested to know. Have just had my second infusion of Toxilimab and I have to say it has taken the edge off the pain. Will keep you up to date with that. Looking forward to any replies Christine

Hi Christine
I think we had a similar query on here a short while ago, but I'm such a dumbo on the site, I can't find it.
I've had this a few times now but no-one has really become upset until the level reached about 140-150 - then I was taken off the MTX. I have always been allowed back on it again after a few weeks once the levels have dropped - as they invariably do.
If you are at all concerned, ring your rheumatology department and ask them if it's OK to continue the mtx or should you come off it for a week or so.
Hope that helps a bit - and try not to worry too much.
Love Jeanxxx
